Columbia/Okura Offers Robotic-Palletizing
Demo Area for Potential Customers
Columbia/Okura has expanded its value-added customer-service program to include a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically for testing prospective customer’s challenging product types. This facility allows prospects to ship their products to the Vancouver, WA location and have the robotic palletizer stack the product as requested. This may include various package types including bags, cases, pails, bundles, trays, etc.; many pattern configurations and placement of slip sheets if needed.
This demo facility includes a fully operational robot cell dedicated to demonstrations, an assortment of end effectors and a knowledgeable team to provide quick turnaround on prospective customer’s palletizing demonstrations. Companies have the option of either traveling to the plant to view the demonstration live or to receive a video demonstration depending on their preference and time availability. An additional benefit of a product demo is that the prospect can see first hand a Columbia/Okura robot palletizing their product flawlessly!
Columbia/Okura LLC is jointly owned by Columbia Machine and Japan’s Okura Yusoki, two companies with more than 100 years of combined materials-handling experience. Customer service and parts support is located in the USA.
